Teide National Park and Masca by 4x4

Aboard our authentic 4X4, we will leave from Playa de las Americas towards La Camella, and travel to the Mirador of Escalona, ​​where we will stop about 15 - 20 minutes to inform passengers about the route and the southern part of the island. Next, we will head towards Vilaflor, one of the highest municipalities in Spain, where we will take a break to use the restrooms.

We will continue the route up to the Mirador of Gran Canary (15 minutes) where we will enjoy the magnificent panoramic view, and if the weather allows it, will observe to the neighboring island in the background.

We'll continue our journey to the Teide National Park, designated world heritage by UNESCO, where we'll be for 45 minutes to one hour. During our visit in the park, we'll stop at the Mirador del Tabonal Negro, Roques de García, and Pico Viejo where we'll have the chance to observe how the Teide volcano was formed and how past eruptions have led to the formation of this unique landscape.

Then we continue on in the direction of Chío, stopping at the Samara Caves for about 15-20 minutes to observe these curious formations, created as volcanic pipelines after the eruption of the Pico Viejo volcano. Immediately afterwards, we'll proceed to Santiago de Teide, where we'll stop to enjoy a nice lunch.

From there, we'll travel to the first Mirador de Masca. From there, we'll continue along the winding road that leads up to the village of Masca. We'll stop in Masca for about 30-45 minutes to visit one of the island's most typical villages. Then, finally we'll return to our starting point.
